HaysMed Launches Wait Time App for Convenient Care
HAYS, Kan. (May 15, 2015) HaysMed has launched a wait time app for their new Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic. The new smart phone application, HaysMed Wait Times, will provide the current wait times to your smart phone as well as directions to the clinic and phone connection.
The wait time is defined as “check-in to room” time. It is the average time from when a patient arrives and checks-in at the clinic to the time when they are placed in a room and treatment begins. The times are updated every 60 seconds based on actual times from the preceding two hours.
“We wanted to give patients information they need, at their fingertips, to make informed decisions about their care.” said Terry Siek, Chief Nursing Officer at HaysMed. “People are on the go and need information in a timely manner to plan their days.”
The HaysMed Wait Times app is available at the Apple Store and Google play. Both iPhone and Android versions are available.
